Cycling legend, Sir Chris Hoy recently admitted that his father-in-law thought he’d purchased tickets to watch him at the 2012 Olympics but ended up paying for garden furniture instead. Hoy’s entire family applied for tickets to try and watch the three-time gold medal winning cyclist in action at London 2012, but knew their hopes were slim given the limited 6,000 capacity of the velodrome. Hoy’s father in-law Bob Kemp thought he had struck it lucky though when his bank account was debited the amount needed to cover the tickets, leading him to presume that he’d been successful in his application. “He was absolutely thrilled and couldn’t believe it,” Hoy told the Daily Telegraph. “He sent out emails to the rest of the family letting everyone know of his good luck. He started planning on the London trip. We were all pleased.”

However, Mr Kemp received a rather nasty surprise when he, like 1.2 million other unlucky fans, got an email from the London 2012 Olympic Games organisers saying his application was unsuccessful. The show made over a house in Blackwood for an extremely deserving woman who has an extreme phobias of wasps and bees. The design team wanted to make over her garden in a way in which would make her feel happy and comfortable going outside and spending more time in outdoors. Cast aluminum is a specific metal that has gone through one of the several processes known as casting. Essentially, cast aluminum is created when methods such as die casting, mold casting, or sand casting are used to temper the aluminum for use in creating components for many different types of products. Cast aluminum is used for a number of items around the house, as well as machinery and other products that are necessary to the manufacturing of a wide range of goods and services.

One of the more common applications of cast aluminum (apart from garden furniture) is in the creation of cookware. Just as cast iron is used for skillets, pans, and other kitchen essentials, cast aluminium can also be used for to manufacture these items too.
