The Christmas garden gift ideas article we did last month proved so popular, I thought I’d pull together another.
I’d only included a fraction of some of the great gift ideas the Lazy Susan team had stumbled across when researching it, so it makes sense to share a few more… We’ve still got a good few weeks until Christmas, so plenty of shopping time left.
Orla Kiely Scribble Stem Tool Box
I just love Orla’s stuff, from furniture to fabrics, its all stunning. And this gardeners tool box, with her signature scribble stem pattern, is simply perfection.
You can store all your essential garden tools inside, then just carry it with you down to trim the weeds or to prune your roses.
The tin has a metal carry handle, strong two clasp hinged lid and a separate top tray in the lid so items can be kept separated.
In fact, its so stylish and pretty, you might not want to get it dirty!
Allotinabox have some of the best gifts for gardeners you’ll find. Take their limited edition Urban Grow Your Own Box…This fantastic growing box is filled with a whole heap of growing goodies including:
- Premium Carrot, Spring Onion, Leek, Spinach and Chive seed varieties.
- Strong 3 ply Organic Jute Twine, beautiful Plant Tags.
- Grow Wheel Guide to tell you when to sow and harvest and a handy information guide.
- Kept safe in our lovely designer wrapping paper and biodegradable box.
It is the perfect Christmas garden gift for the urban gardener, and is ideal for growing on balconies, rooftops, in window boxes or pots.
Or their bestselling Seedball Meadow in a tin. A Beautiful mix of native and wildflowers that was developed in collaboration with River of Flowers.
The Urban Meadow mix contains the following:
- Common toadflax
- Meadow Cranesbill
- Oxeye daisy

- Musk Mallow
Each Tin contains at least 20 seed balls and each seed ball contains approximately 100 Urban Meadow seeds, and at under a fiver, it makes a great stocking filler.

Make sure that the special gardener in your life can keep all their precious plants clearly named with a label from this excellent selection of wooden & plastic markers.
The Apple to Pears mini gardeners labels tin is packed in a re-usable tin, it includes 45 assorted labels plus a stylish pencil.
Kew Gardens World Spices Grow Box
I love the idea of the Kew Gardens World Spices Grow Box. Its just that little bit different than the usual box of smelly’s or sweets, and is a great Christmas garden gift idea for the keen gardener in your life.
Developed by Kew Royal Botanic Gardens as part of their grow your own selection, its a great way to grow your own spices, even if you’re limited to the smallest of spaces.
The box contains everything you need to grow four varities of chillies right from the box. All you need to do is pop it onto a windowsill and keep it watered.
This self-contained indoor grow kit also contains Pepper Numex, Mustard Habenero, Tabasco and Jalepeno seeds, peat-free composted soil, plant markers and a pencil… All wrapped up in a stylish 100% recycled box.
Gardener’s Gift Bucket
And While we’re on with Kew Gardens, they also have this stylish Gardener’s Gift Bucket for sale in their online gift shop.
It comes in an enameled tin bucket and includes lavender oil bath foam to soothe sway those aching limbs after a day bent over your plants, a great pair of grippy gardening gloves, green natural jute twine, a wooden dibber and plant labels.
This wonderful gardener’s gift bucket makes a fantastic Christmas present for your green-fingered friends and relatives.
Thoughtful Gardener Bee House by Wild and Wolf
This environmentally friendly home for bees and other garden insects is a great gift. It encourages bees into your garden and helps the planet at the same time.
You just add a little honey and sugar inside the wooden pipes and it will attract those bees. You can then hang the house high against a wall or buried in a tree to bring your garden to life.
There is no better way to pollinate your garden. They will tend to your flowers and help to provide as long a bloom season as possible.
If space is tight, then your best option is to grow upwards. The Ladder Allotment is a great solution and makes the perfect gift for those who complain about having limited space in their garden.
Dobies.co.uk have a great range of 2, 3 and 4 tier Ladder Alottments. They’re sturdily constructed from sawn and pressure treated soft wood which has been FSC sourced from reputable suppliers in the UK.
They’re quick and easy to assemble, perfect for positioning against a solid wall or shed, and easy to move.
All come with tough, hanging planter bags that are 96cm (38″) long x 20cm (8″) wide, and deep enough to accommodate a whole range of plants, with each bag holding approx. 40 litres of compost.
So that’s it for this month, if we get another positive response to this article, I may try and squeeze a few more Christmas garden gift ideas onto the blog in December.
