With 50 garden furniture sets to give away this year, we are looking for new worthwhile causes to support.

Could your charity, centre, group or school make use of a free set of stylish metal garden furniture?

Please just tell us in 100 words why you think you or your organisation need the furniture, and email it to us at [email protected].

The best entries will be chosen based on creativity and the reasons why.

Lazy Susan continue to Do Some Good in 2020

With the help of our customers and the local community, we want to continue to Do Some Good

Through our ongoing Do Some Good charity campaign we want to continue supporting good causes, with our aim again, to donate the equivalent of at least £20,000 again in 2020.

St Wilfrid's Hospice

As part of our ongoing charity initiative, as well as pledging donations for the photographs our customers send of their new garden furniture in situ, we also donate garden furniture sets to a variety of worthy causes.

In January of this tear we donated a number of beautiful modern style outdoor dining sets to the new St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Bosham and the Second-Chance Children’s Charity in Portsmouth.

St Wilfrid’s support people living with terminal illness, both in the community and at their hospices. They said of the recent donation;

“The garden furniture kindly given to us by Michael and the team at Lazy Susan is the perfect addition to the outside of our new hospice in Bosham. This new future proof hospice will ensure we can better support the community in and around the area with end of life care for many decades to come.”

The second donation of garden tables and chairs was for the Second-Chance Children’s Charity.

Second-Chance help children from a variety of backgrounds from their base in Portsmouth. Those children may have been abused, sexually, physically or mentally, they may come from a poverty-stricken background or they may have learning difficulties.

The donation of Lazy Susan furniture is for their recently constructed custom-built lodge in the village of Fontley, Fareham. Providing the perfect rural escape, the lodge will allow these children, many of whom are from inner cities, to experience fishing, camping and working with animals and nature.

Lazy Susan owner, Michael Scott had the following to say about our Do Some Good campaign:

“We’re immensely proud of our Do Some Good campaign. Our customers get involved by just sending a few photos of their new Lazy Susan furniture once it’s in their garden. The creativity never ceases to amaze us. We then make a £10 donation to our charity partners for each set of photos, and we’ll raise that to £20 for any photos that show the table dressed to impress. With a gallery of over 2000 images, we’ve donated a significant amount since the campaigns inception. The donation of garden furniture to charities such as St Wilfrid’s and Second Chance is just another way for us to Do Some Good, and this year we want to donate even more garden sets to similar worthy causes.”
