We are delighted to introduce 4 new garden benches to the Lazy Susan collection for 2014. So what can you say about the garden bench…
Well quite a bit to be honest with you. Its more than just a place to park your tush, a well-placed garden bench can transform your garden, not to mention they’ve been around for many a year…
However, we’re not interested in the rich history of the garden bench. No, it is all about the new today and offering a little buying advice.
The garden bench is so versatile, all you need is a little free space at the bottom of the garden where it can be used as a focal point, somewhere you can sit back and really enjoy your garden.
Trust Lazy Susan, there is simply no better piece of outdoor furniture sit back on and take in all that effort you’ve put into creating your outdoor oasis. However, before you buy, there are one or two considerations you need to think about to ensure you get the right bench for your garden.
Start by setting a budget and make sure you stick to it. Then measure the free space you have for the bench to sit and identify the style of bench you want. Get online, do a little research. Once you’ve identified the style of bench, take your time to look at the pros and cons of all the different types of materials too.
Do you like timber or cast aluminium for example? Establish which is best for you. And its not just about looks. Take into account how you use your garden, can you store inside during winter, are you prepared to maintain that material etc.
And finally, think about any extra features you might want from your bench. From weather-proof cushions and integrated canopies to benches with built-under storage or space in the arms for drinks, there is some great little design features on many modern benches.
However, if you just want a fab looking, classically styled, superbly constructed garden benches, then look no further than these new additions to the Lazy Susan range:
Grace Garden Benches
Antique Bronze Grace Garden Bench
Brand spanking new for 2014 is our fantastic looking (if I do say so myself) Grace bench. This item is in stock and ready to order now. Plus if you order today you will get the Grace bench at our special introductory price of £119.99. But be quick because the offer won’t last long and we will soon be reverting to the full sales price.
Cushions are availible in stone, green, blue or terracotta and all Lazy Susan garden benches are shipped via our free next day delivery service.
The design of the Grace bench is based on our ever popular Jasmine bench, and it incorporates the traditional integrated chair arms and legs with a classic lattice seat base, and slatted back rest.
And because the Grace bench is constructed from premium grade cast aluminium, it can be left out all year round and pretty much maintenance free. A quick wipe with a little warm soapy water is all it really needs.
At the moment there is big trends towards purchasing two garden benches and a rectangular coffee table or bbq table to create a low relaxed dining area. Perfect for that informal BBQ or a few al fresco cocktails with friends in the summer.
The Grace bench weighs 15kg and full dimensions can be viewed on the product page.
White Grace Garden Bench
To sit alongside the antique bronze Grace bench, we will also be offering the same style in white. And again the stylish white Grace bench incorporates the traditional integrated chair arms and legs with a lattice seat base with slatted back.
July Garden Benches
Antique Bronze July Garden Bench
Also brand new for the 2014 summer season is our July garden bench. We just know this one is going to be a real customer favourite.
As with the Grace it will be available in a choice of antique bronze and white colourways. Both colours are perfect for that sunny spot in your garden or you can use it as additional seating for your dining table.
July is in stock now at a special introductory price, but as with Grace you need to order quick as we will soon be reverting to the full sales price of £129.99.
White July Garden Bench
With the white July bench I am afraid we only have a very limited supply in our warehouse. So please be quick and reserve yours at this special discounted price, as when the full stock arrives the price will go back up to the normal price of £129.99.
Like the Grace bench, the July weighs in at and easy-to-lift-but-wont-blow-over-in-a-stiff-breeze 15 kg but again you’ll find full details and dimensions over on the product page.
