We like to do these garden furniture trends articles at this time of year. We’re officially into Spring, and summer is just around the corner. Yes, I know the weather is still a little iffy, however, you just get the feeling that better days are on their way soon. Or is that wishful thinking? In…
I’m big fan of PayPal and PayPal Credit. My family and I have used it for online purchases for many year now without issue. From a personal point of view it allows me to shop with peace of mind. I can pay online with just my PayPal password and it removes the need to keep entering all my personal details for any eligible purchases.
The team and I love a good gardening book. We’ve stockpiled quite the library at Lazy Susan HQ. We pick them up on a regular basis, they make for great inspiration, they influence our product development, and they help to keep us in touch with garden design trends that could directly influence our business. Plus we are passionate about what we do. We love our gardens as much as you do. So at the end of the day, we enjoy reading them. A good book also makes for a great gift for any green fingered friends and family members.
The current Off-Season Sale we’ve been running at Lazy Susan is a little different. The prices are still significantly discounted. In fact we are currently offering garden sets at some of our lowest prices ever. However, historically we would of primarily discounted items that were discontinued, maybe sets that didn’t sell as well as we anticipated. The items currently on sale in our Promotions section are a little different in that they are strong sellers for us. Our modern garden furniture collection has proven to be incredibly popular since we launched it a few years ago.
Export plays a vital role in our economy, it directly influences our level of economic growth, employment and the balance of payments. Lower transport costs, globalisation, economies of scale and reduced tariff barriers have all helped exports gain a bigger share of the UK’s national income over the last couple of decades. And while the uncertainty of Brexit, the potential of us leaving the EU without a deal is a concern, export must continue to be an integral part of the Lazy Susan business model. Whatever the future holds, in or out of the EU, hopefully the government (whoever that might be post General election) can find a positive way forward, with minimal impact on businesses such as us, so we can continue to export our garden furniture.
I’ve posted a few end of summer outdoor furniture maintenance tips on our social media channels over the last few weeks or so. The weather has certainly taken a turn for the worse recently. It feels like it has not stopped raining for weeks now, and the other morning I went out to find a frost. No deicer for the car windows had the kids and I sat there for 10 minutes while we waited for the heaters to do the job. I have since stocked up on said deicer. So I think this weekend is the weekend I give up on the chance of us seeing another Indian Summer. Weather permitting, I’ll tidy up the garden, give the grass a final cut, and give my Lazy Susan furniture a little TLC
As we come to the end of the 2019 summer season, I thought it might be nice to share some of the latest in outdoor furniture design pieces that we’ve seen this year from some of our industries leading designers. These are pieces we’ve spotted at this years furniture expos and garden shows that we fell in love with. The Lazy Susan collection has a more refined, classical style. And we love that, so do our customers. However, there are companies out there that are looking to break the mould, do something a little different.
The Internet has revolutionised the way we shop. As a business, without the internet, Lazy Susan would be a very different animal indeed. The advantages for us are many. We can sell direct to the consumer. We aren’t restricted by location. We can keep our overheads low as we don’t require a network of showrooms. I could go on. However, it is not just us that benefit. There are numerous advantages for you, the consumer. More and more people are opting to shop online over the conventional method of going into stores. And not only that, we are prepared to purchase a broader range of products than ever before.
