Here at Lazy Susan, we’re in a privileged position to give back to good causes and Do Some Good.
In 2022 alone, we donated a record £100,000 to some great causes, which is a considerable amount for a small business such as ours.
In 2023, our aim here at Lazy Susan is to donate £120,000 to our charity partners, with our ultimate goal being our commitment to donate £1,000,000 by 2027.
We have recently run a number of photo and video appeals via our email updates and social media channels, and the quality of what our customers submit never fails to impress.
Also interesting to note is that around 45% of our customers have chosen to donate to a charity of their choosing.
For our next photo campaign, we have decided to increase the donation to £100 for every set of photos or videos we receive.
We need more photos and videos so we can make more donations and hit our targets!
Our recent photo challenge
Last month, we held a photo challenge (advert above) that helped raise £4,500 for 32 different charities and helped us plant 1,500 trees.
The stunning winning photo (above top) was sent in by Deborah and she chose for her £2,500 donation to go to Cancer Research UK:
"I have chosen Cancer Research, as it was my Paternal Grandmothers chosen Charity. My late Father also suffered Cancer, my mother has inoperable rare Cancer and my school best friend is recovering from breast cancer. As you can see, with it so closely affecting me and it surrounding us all in one way or another, I am delighted that this donation can go towards the research."

Our customer photos are really unique to our business, they truly help differentiate us from our competitors and, they also help to show what our collection looks like in situ.
We're aiming to have raised £1,000,000 for good causes by 2027 but in order to make it happen we need the help of all of our customers...
