Our mission at Lazy Susan is to enable people to spend more time together outside. Whatever the occasion - morning coffee or impromptu bbq - we encourage a more relaxed approach to outdoor living with our fuss-free, low-maintenance cast aluminium garden furniture.

Our products are thoughtfully designed, then crafted from high quality materials. Lazy Susan furniture won’t rust or rot when you leave it outside. With less work to do, there's more time for potting or pruning, daydreaming or dozing.

Aside from selling a wide range of classic and contemporary garden furniture, we also believe in helping communities and good causes. Our Do Some Good campaign has donated over £400,000 since 2015. It's easy to get involved: Simply snap a photo of your new dining set, send it over and let us know which charity you would like us to donate to.

How it all began

The company was founded in 2007 by Michael Scott from a make-shift office in his garden shed. This is where he realised that the solution for sustainable, long-lasting, outdoor furniture was to use cast aluminium. The maintenance free nature of this metal meant that he would never again have to worry about protecting his garden table against rust or rot. He took his prototype furniture to garden shows throughout the UK. During this time he spoke to many thousands of customers and got to know their needs very well. Then the internet arrived, and he realised he could retire from the wind-swept show circuit and concentrate on developing an online company. 

The Product

What makes us different is that we do not sell teak or rattan furniture. We specialize in cast aluminium for a simple reason; it is the strongest material available. We use a centuries old sand-casting technique to create our tables and chairs. Each hand-crafted piece is then powder-coated to produce a unique finish. Rust and rot-proof, our furniture is low maintenance and designed to live outside all year, whatever the weather. 

Our Journey

Since those early days the company has outgrown the shed, recruited an incredible team and Lazy Susan now sells its products throughout the UK and Europe. We have never forgotten our focus, remaining passionate about sourcing high quality materials to craft garden furniture made to last. Customer satisfaction has always been at the heart of what we do. It has been our mission to prioritize our customers, solve any problems speedily and exceed their expectations. Giving back

Aside from selling beautifully designed garden furniture, we also believe in  helping communities and good causes. Our Do Some Good campaign which  encourages customers to send in a photo of their new furniture in their garden  has donated over £530,000 to charitable causes since 2015.
