Cardboard Packaging
Another key part of our plan will be the transition to 100% recycled cardboard packaging by 2029.
This move will help conserve forests and biodiversity by reducing the need for virgin paper pulp, thus protecting natural habitats.
Secondly, producing packaging from recycled cardboard requires less energy, resulting in lower carbon emissions. Additionally, it supports waste reduction by repurposing cardboard that would otherwise end up in landfills.
By conserving water and reducing waste, Lazy Susan is dedicated to creating a sustainable future for our company, our community and our customers.
Leading by Example
Sustainability is, as you can see, a huge part of how we plan to run Lazy Susan going forward.
By integrating these sustainable practices into our operations, we're not only reducing our environmental impact but also setting a precedent in the garden furniture industry.
We hope that by discussions with our suppliers, stakeholders and even competitors, we shall be able to share this key value amongst the industry.

A Sustainable Future Starts Here
Lazy Susan's sustainability plan marks a significant leap towards a greener, more sustainable future. By embracing recycled materials, minimising waste, and reducing single-use plastics, we're not only protecting our wider community but also leading the way in sustainable business practices.
Together, we can make a difference, one garden at a time.
