8. Further Prize Details and Conditions:

a. The Prizes cannot be exchanged for money or vouchers.

b. Monday–Friday cottage stay:

i. Stays are Monday to Friday only, excluding all bank holidays and all UK school holiday periods.

ii. The stay must be booked for consecutive nights within a Monday–Friday window.

iii. It is the winner’s and their guest’s responsibility to arrange and pay for any necessary insurance.

iv. The Prize does not include travel, meals, beverages, personal expenses, excursions, or additional costs not explicitly stated.

v. The winner and guest must follow all relevant terms and conditions set by A Corner of Eden.

vi. The stay must be taken between November 2025 - March 2026 or November 2026 - December 2026. At least 1 week’s advance notice is required.

vii. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have written parental consent.

viii. If guests are still in school during term time, written permission from the school must be provided.

ix. If a booking is cancelled by the winner, no alternative date or compensation will be provided.

x. No compensation is offered if the stay is delayed, postponed, or cancelled.

xi. The winner is responsible for their own conduct and that of their guest; the Promoter may withdraw the Prize if behaviour is inappropriate.

The Free Friendship Garden Bench is offered to eligible schools and charities as part of our 'Do Some Good' campaign. It is available on https://www.lazysusanfurniture.co.uk/ from 20/01/25 until further notice, or while supplies last (the “Promotion Period”). 

The Free Friendship Garden Bench is only available on selected benches. The choice of benches will be communicated once the application has been submitted and reviewed by the Lazy Susan team.

If eligible, each applicant will be limited to 1 (one) free bench. The Free Friendship Garden Bench is not refundable or exchangeable for cash or other merchandise and is non-transferable.

Use of your UGC (User Generated Content):

Lazy Susan may use your content (i.e. photo or video submissions), in whole or in part or as part of Lazy Susan campaigns on any of Lazy Susan marketing channels and website.

9) By submitting images or videos to Lazy Susan, each entrant confirms and warrants that:

a) They are the sole author of each entry and that it is their original work;

b) They own the copyright and any other intellectual property rights of each image;

c) They have the permission of anyone pictured in the image (or, where the image shows any persons under 18, the consent of their parent/guardian) or the usage rights required by Lazy Susan and will indemnify Lazy Susan against any claims made by any third parties in respect of such infringement;

d) They have not licensed or disposed of any rights in the image that would conflict with uses to be made by Lazy Susan;

e) They have received any necessary permissions from the owner(s) of objects including buildings included in submitted images for the usage rights required by Lazy Susan and will indemnify Lazy Susan against any claims made by any third parties in respect of such infringement.

f) Lazy Susan have permission to use the imagery provided across their marketing channels and website.

The Free Friendship Garden Bench is available to UK customers only and will exclude some postcodes where we cannot deliver (these will be communicated after your submission).

Employees of Lazy Susan LTD, affiliates, subsidiaries, individuals or entities contractually obligated to provide content to Lazy Susan are not eligible to receive any compensation pursuant to these terms and conditions.

Except as otherwise set out herein, all gifts are subject to Lazy Susan Ltd’s standard Terms and Conditions which are expressly incorporated herein by reference.

4. How to Enter

3. Provide your email address.
4. Select the charity you wish us to donate to.

5. Guaranteed Donation

Each valid entry will guarantee one donation to the entrant’s chosen charity, as selected during the submission process.

6. Prize

One entrant will be randomly selected to receive a £1,000 donation made by Lazy Susan Ltd to the charity of their choice, as indicated during entry.

The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, gift cards, or any alternative form.

7. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected at random during the week commencing 28th July 2025.

The winner will be contacted by email. If no response is received within 7 days, Lazy Susan Ltd reserves the right to select a new winner.

8. Data Usage

Email addresses and personal data will only be used to contact the winner and administer the donation.

No data will be shared with third parties without consent.

By entering the competition, you grant Lazy Susan Ltd a licence to use your submitted photo(s) across its digital and print channels, including but not limited to websites, social media platforms, email marketing, and promotional materials.
