Lazy Susan is a fast growing customer focused and friendly e-commerce business, located in the centre of the historic coastal city of Portsmouth. We have successfully expanded our business to service a number of European markets with a significant proportion of overall turnover now generated from Germany and France.
We are recruiting key team members to take the business through a dynamic and exciting phase in its development, which includes introducing new product categories, market channels and the development of all aspects of our e-commerce platform including the implementation of a new ERP system, Odoo.
The position will suit an individual with the right technical background looking for an opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact in a growing e-commerce business.

Position: IT Infrastructure Support
Department: IT
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK
Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)
Key tasks and responsibilities:
• Contribute to the delivery of IT infrastructure services within their field of responsibility.
• Contribute to the management of quality of service delivered within their field of responsibility and ability
• Propose improvements within their field of responsibility (defined customer company or site)
• Processes and Standards
• Support activities to assure that basic controls for safe and secure IT operations are in place within their field of responsibility, such as;
• Business systems are operated within legal requirements and according to corporate policy
• Disaster recovery; procedures and infrastructures in place and frequently tested
• Release management and version control
• Incident & change management
• Contract management
• Licence compliance
• Contribute to improving IT efficiency within their field of responsibility
• Support the development and enhancement of cooperative interdepartmental relationships within their field of responsibility and ability
• Maintain relationships with local suppliers within their field of responsibility
• Contribute to invoice verification for material and services purchased for IT
• Assist HR and IT Manager with GDPR Compliance

Your skills and experience:
You will have:
• Worked with a variety of systems, and technologies to deliver coherent solutions and processes for colleagues and team members
• At least 1 years of experience in a similar IT role
• Good English language skills (spoken and written)
• Worked together with other members of the local and external IT teams
• Readiness and ability to travel
• Ability to lift and carry computer equipment
• Knowledge of several of the core technologies and applications in use within the Company : Windows PCs, Servers and networks, TCP/IP and wireless networking
• Ability to investigate and resolve problems with hardware and software in an effective, timely and professional manner
• Familiar with computer building and imaging.
Experience of the following would be advantageous:
• Odoo• IT management: e.g. networks, security, server administration
• Cloud computing: AWS, GCP
• In depth knowledge of any of the technologies and applications in use, including Windows 10 and Office 365, Google Workspace
• Familiar with IT in a e-commerce environment
• Experience of operating a formal help desk system
• Use of remote access tools
• Knowledge of IP Telephone and conferencing Systems
• Warehouse Management Systems and integrations
• Label Printing
• E-commerce systems:
> Web platforms (ideally Shopware)
> Channel management
> PIM, DAM, MDM
> Amazon environment
