Sustainability

We are passionate about being as green as we can be as a business.

Most of our packaging is cardboard and if delivered by our Lazy Susan staff (dependent on postcode), rather than our courier service, we will take your furniture packaging away with us free of charge and recycle it ourselves.

We recycle all waste within our warehouse and produce very little waste given the nature of our business.

Our couriers share our values. For small national deliveries our courier, DPD, implements a number of green strategies to reduce their impact on the environment with an ISO accreditation for environmental management. Our larger pallet deliveries are managed by a local haulage company who are part of the Pall-Ex group who also operate using the 3 Rs as below. They are located directly next to our warehouse and so are collected at source to avoid any addiitonal journeys and wasted fuel.

Reuse:

At Lazy Susan we take pride in the longevity and quality of our products. We receive regular testimonials from customers who continue to enjoy our products with no maintenance, no rust and no rotting issues. Unlike some garden furniture materials such as plastic and wood which require significant maintenance throughout the year and are not completely weather proof, our products do not weaken under UV exposure or damp conditions.

Reduce:

In the past year Lazy Susan has made significant efforts to reduce wastage by doing most of our administration electronically.

Recycle:

We actively recycle on site - most of our packaging is cardboard which is recycled regularly. We also apply the 3 Rs to our office work ethic and produce and take every measure we can to reduce the amount of waste we generate as a company.
