Last month we published our guide to shopping online for garden furniture. In that post, we touched on the reasons for supplying Ready To Assemble (RTA), one of the main ones being to make home delivery safe and simple. We want to take that a little further and look at how we get your garden chairs delivered to your home.
Here at Lazy Susan, we have a number of warehouses across the UK, and it is our aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
We work closely with a number of trusted couriers to provide flexibility and the best possible quality of service.
All of the couriers we work with provide a full tracking service. Their details can be found further down in this post.
Once you’ve placed an order with us, you’ll receive a tracking/consignment number, and you can then follow the link for info on how to track your parcel with your assigned courier.
Delivery times often vary, depending on what products you’ve ordered and where you live.
As the stock is held in different locations, your order might be split and will arrive on different days, so please do not be concerned if this is the case.
We endeavour to get all in-stock items to you within 48 hours of each other.
How we ship our garden furniture to your home
We aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 7/10 working days and then please allow a further 24 up to 48 hours for delivery to you.
We would advise that you always provide a mobile number when placing your order, and that way the courier can contact you directly if need be.
When it comes to our larger size 6, 8 and 10 Seater Garden Furniture Sets purchased with any garden chairs or any size set paired with our Jane, Maria or Mary stacking garden chairs, delivery is fulfilled by XDP, Simply Parcels or via the Pall-Ex network.
Depending on the size of your order, this will either be a 1 or 2 man delivery drop.
For all 2 man deliveries, your garden furniture will carefully be delivered to your garden, patio or outdoor space, ready for you to simply assemble.
Again, we would advise you to provide a mobile number when ordering, as this will allow the courier to update you with tracking and delivery slots.
For any orders shipped via Simply Parcels, you’ll be sent a text or email within 7/10 working days to arrange a delivery time for your furniture.
For orders shipped with XDP, we’d expect the parcels to be dispatched from our warehouse within 7/10 working days and then delivered to you within 24 to 48 hours.
If your order is shipped via the Pall-Ex network, then it will leave our warehouse within 7 to 10 working days of the order date and be delivered by pallet and placed in front of your property for you to take charge of.
You’ll be contacted by the courier firm (working on behalf of Pall-Ex) within 24 to 48 hours of the goods leaving our warehouse to arrange the delivery with you. You can contact them after the goods are unloaded to remove the pallet at a later time if need be too.
We also fully appreciate waiting for orders can be frustrating, things go wrong and are sometimes out of our control, however, we will always endeavour to try and make the process as smooth as possible.

Get your garden chairs delivered to your home with free UK Delivery
Subject to the exception for ‘out of area’ postcodes including Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, Lazy Susan are pleased to offer the vast majority of our UK customers free delivery, Monday to Friday.
When you checkout you can state any special requirements or important information to be communicated to the carrier in the comments box.
