Speaking of summer, if you’re local to the Lazy Susan HQ, the brilliant Stansted Summer Festival is coming up on the weekend of the 13th and 14th of July 2024
We will not be there in a business capacity but many of us will be attending with our families and you will see our garden furniture in the Stansted Park Farm Shop courtyard, so we would encourage you to pop along and pay them a visit.
About the Stansted Summer Festival
This year the Stansted Summer Festival falls on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July, and yet again, it promises to be an eclectic weekend of family fun, quirky entertainment and a little bit of the eccentric all within the setting of their quintessentially English country estate.
Visitors will find a weekend packed with endless activities, from archery to forest school, music to woodland crafts, classic cars, a real T34 Tank, a host of stalls, and of course, excellent food and drink at the farm shop.
I know we are a little biased as Stansted Park is on our doorstep and they are friends of ours but it is well worth a visit. The festival is a relaxed and enjoyable day out with a superb atmosphere and something for everyone.

About Stansted Park Farm Shop
You will find a mouth-watering selection of local food and drink vendors at this year's festival, including our good friends from Stansted Park Farm Shop, who as always will be a “showcase for local excellence”.
Fred Duncannon started the farm shop in 2012 in the old Stansted estate stables. In 2017 it moved into a new bespoke barn with room for a butchery, deli and kitchen.
The stunning wood-beamed building uses Douglas fir timber from the estate that was planted in 1946 by the Women’s Land Army.
The Farm shop will be open throughout the weekend, and parking is not an issue, so come and have a wander around the festival and pop into their shop for some fab local, seasonal goodies.
